NON-Immigrant B VISA Thailand (Under Teaching Job)
- Copy of passport and all pages with visa stamps. (Only the front page of the passport if applying for a visa outside the country).
- Tourist visa NOT LESS THAN 21 days.
- Letter of acceptance from an employing institute or school in Thailand.
- Letter from OBEC or Service Area (Ministry of Education) requesting the consulate to allow you to apply for a NON-B visa (The school must send a request letter to OBEC before they give you your recommendation letter).
- A request letter from the school to the Thai consulate that you will apply for a NON-B visa.
- A copy of your documents such as TOR and Diploma (Apostilled, NOTARIZED by the Philippine EMBASSY and Ministry of Foreign Affairs Thailand is needed if you want to apply non-b without going out from the country and also used for a visa extension).
- A copy of the school license OR business registration, list of shareholders, and school profile.
- A copy of the school MAP (You can print from Google map).
- A copy of the school Director’s (Employer’s) ID with Signature.
- Police clearance issued by authorized agencies in the applicant’s country (for example, NBI clearance).
For Extension of NON-B Visa or Renewal
- Copy of passport and all visa stamp pages.
- NON-B visa should have LESS THAN 21 days remaining.
- Request letter from OBEC or Service Area (Ministry of Education).
- Request letter from the school.
- Credentials NOTARIZED by the EMBASSY and Ministry of Foreign Affairs Thailand.
- Copy of Working Permit.
- Copy of Kurusapa (Teaching License).
- School MAP (Other consulates need this. You can print from Google map).
- Director’s ID with Signature.
NON-Immigrant B VISA Thailand (Under Company)
- Invitation letter from the company with specific job position, salary, and employment duration.
- Copy of passport and all the pages with stamps.
- 2 pcs (2×3 cm) photo with white or blue background.
- Employment certification form.
- Approval letter from the Ministry of Labour.
- To obtain this, the employer must submit a WP3 form at the office of Foreign Worker Administration, Department of Employment, Ministry of Labour.
- Credentials.
- Employment contract.
- Employer’s ID with Signature.
- Letter from the company to the Thai consulate that you will apply for a NON-B visa.
- Company profile including:
- Certificate of Incorporation (In the registry key listed or partnership)
- List of shareholders
- Company Memorandum or Articles of Association
- Corporate income tax and trade taxes (latest)
- VAT Item (latest)
- Current foreign employees register

The Two Paths: Initial Application vs. Extension
Path 1: Initial NON-B (Tourist Visa Change)
Goal: Change Tourist Visa status to Non-B while staying in Thailand (requires 21+ days remaining) or applying from abroad.

- Police Clearance (from home country, e.g., NBI)
School/Employer Documents:
- Letter of Acceptance/Employment

- School Map (Google Map Print)
Path 2: Extension or Renewal
Goal: Extend your stay (usually 1 year) within Thailand at the Immigration Bureau.
Applicant Documents:
- Passport & Visa Copies
- NON-B Visa Stamp (< 21 days remaining)
- Work Permit (Copy)
- Kurusapa (Teaching License Copy)
- Credentials (Notarized by Embassy & MFA)
School/Employer Documents:
- OBEC/Service Area Request Letter (New)
- School Request Letter (New)
- School Director’s ID with Signature
- School Map (Google Map Print)
- Updated Corporate Tax/Financial Docs
